Improving traffic safety in Sharjah

In collaboration with the General Command of Sharjah Police, Rafid has introduced a new contact number, 80092, dedicated to receiving reports of minor traffic accidents. This initiative aims to improve response times, offer prompt assistance through phone calls, and expedite the processes associated with obtaining related services.

The launch of the new number was marked by a ceremony attended by Major General Saif Al Zari Al Shamsi, Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, and Ahmed Juma Al Musharrekh, Chief Officer of Rafid, along with several officers and officials from both organizations. This collaboration highlights the joint efforts of Sharjah Police and Rafid to improve the quality and efficiency of services provided to the public.

The introduction of the new number for reporting minor traffic accidents is a strategic move to improve traffic management and enhance public safety in Sharjah. By providing a dedicated line for such reports, Rafid and Sharjah Police aim to streamline the process, reduce response times, and ensure that accidents are handled efficiently.

This initiative is part of a broader effort to improve the overall quality of life for residents and visitors in Sharjah by ensuring that the roads are safe and that help is readily available in the event of an accident.
