The United Arab Emirates (UAE) reported that two police officers died while performing their duties in Abu Dhabi.

On Friday, the Abu Dhabi Police General Command announced that two police officers had passed away while responding to a police incident report.

While responding to a police report, Lieutenant Muhammad Obaid Mubarak and Lieutenant Saud Khamis Al Hosani were involved in a car accident that resulted in their deaths. The Sheikh Zayed Tunnel in Abu Dhabi was the location where the car in the story experienced a breakdown.
After their deaths, they rose to the rank of lieutenant, having previously held the position of first policeman.
Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who is also the Minister of the Interior and Deputy Prime Minister, took the opportunity to award the Medal of Duty to the families of those who made the ultimate sacrifice.
Sheikh Saif lauded their unwavering dedication and commitment to safeguarding both lives and property. "They (Lt. Mubarak and Al Hosani) were beacons that shone the path of loyalty and sincerity, as well as the best positive role models for the people of the Emirates," she wrote on X. "They were the best positive role models for the people of the Emirates."
