Lulu Group in the UAE announced the opening of new branches.
In the United Arab Emirates, Lulu Group has announced the opening of new locations.
As part of its new expansion strategy, LuLu Group International is placing a greater emphasis on the opening of more hypermarkets in the suburban districts of Abu Dhabi.
We have a plan to establish hypermarkets on the outskirts of Abu Dhabi City. We don't want people in the community to have to travel long distances to visit our stores in the city. Yusuffali M.A., chairman and managing director of LuLu Group International, made the statement that we ought to become closer to them.
Shawamekh Central Mall, located more than 40 kilometers away from the city, recently inaugurated a hypermarket that spans over 85,000 square feet. The group is the owner of the renowned LuLu Hypermarket chain, as well as shopping malls all over the world.
Humaid Al Marzouqi, Director of the Wathba Municipality Centre, was present at the hypermarket's opening.
Yusuffali emphasized that the group's concentration on suburban areas is in accordance with the aim of the government to expand the city.
We are implementing this as part of our new strategy to assist in the development of new communities in the suburbs and contribute to the government's objective of extending the city.
The business will be opening between six and seven hypermarkets in various sections of the suburbs in Abu Dhabi, according to Yusuffali, who has been working in the UAE for the past half a century.
"We are doing what we can to contribute to Abu Dhabi City's growth in the surrounding residential areas." For this reason, we are currently focusing our efforts on opening our new hypermarkets on the outskirts of Abu Dhabi City.
Fresh food products, household goods, and bakery items fill the new hypermarket in Shawamekh. Additionally, the center features a money exchange, an ATM, food and beverage outlets, a pharmacy, a jewelry shop, and other facilities, which makes it a community-oriented retail destination in the neighborhood.
Yusuffali noted that the future suburban hypermarkets would follow a similar concept.
According to Yusuffali, "Going forward, we will focus on suburbs such as Baniyas, Al Shahama, western regions, and other parts of Al Ain." He also mentioned that the firm is on track to establish new hypermarkets across the United Arab Emirates in the future, resulting in an increase in the number of jobs available to the local workforce.
