Dubai has announced that it will provide Eid al-Adha holidays to its employees in 2024.
The Eid al-Adha vacation, which starts on Saturday, June 15, and lasts until Tuesday, June 18, will prohibit government personnel from working, according to the Dubai government. The official work schedule will resume on Wednesday, June 19.
The holiday circular outlines exceptions for authorities, departments, and institutions that employ shift workers, engage in public service, or manage public facilities. These organizations will determine the working hours of their employees during the holiday season based on the operational requirements necessary to maintain uninterrupted operation of their facilities.
The Federal Authority of Human Resources announced that the public sector will have holidays from Saturday, June 15, to Tuesday, June 18.
Emirates has announced that personnel in the public sector will be off for Eid al-Adha.
The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratization (Mohre) announced that the private sector will be on vacation from Saturday, June 15, to Tuesday, June 18, following the photography of the crescent of the month of Dhul Hijjah 1445 from Abu Dhabi on Friday, June 7.
