Identity and Nationality offers the public further services via the Usrati card in the UAE
The United Arab Emirates' Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship announces that all services available to citizens in the Emirates will now be included in the My Family Card, offering the public new services.
"Identity and Nationality" aims to broaden the "Usrati" package's purview to encompass all services offered to citizens.
As part of its future plans, the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs, and Port Security plans to broaden the scope of the "My Family" service package that it recently introduced, working with the Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority, to cover all services that a person uses while living in the nation, including national services for young Emirati males, employment and retirement, and situations involving death and inheritance to family members.
The "My Family" package is thought to be the first of its kind, according to Major General Khalifa Matar Al-Humairi, Acting Director General of Support Services at the Authority.
It offers a range of complementary services to citizens who are getting married, from the marriage contract to the service of removing the spouses from the family book. In addition to housing support services, welcoming a newborn, holding off on reserving a school seat until the child reaches school age, and creating a new family book for them—all of this is done proactively, that is, before the service is requested, without the need for human intervention or the uploading of any documents.
In order to make this project, which proactively offers all of these services to citizens, a success, he praised the efforts of all federal and local ministries, agencies, and government institutions.
The project's goal is to expedite meeting family requirements, needs, and services through a single digital platform that unifies all of these services.
The Emirates' Identity and Citizenship Department announced the availability of numerous new services via the Usrati card.
In the latest iteration of the "My Family" package, the citizen customer's journey comprises a range of proactive services that embody the genuine meaning of quality of life and are given without request. These services include the marriage grant, wage information, electronic family book issuance or updates, and contract documentation. Land and property, housing assistance, getting pregnant, scheduling doctor's appointments and vaccinations, and securing school seats.
The package is regarded as a noteworthy example of a new generation of proactive government services based on offering services to clients without their request, completing necessary paperwork, or downloading any documents.
Instead, citizens access these services proactively through the "My Family" platform, as soon as the date arrives and before making a request. This helps citizens live better lives, save time and effort, feel happier, and realise their goals and dreams.
