A woman received a million dollars after using her husband's financial gift to buy a duty-free ticket to Dubai.

An Indian tourist currently in Dubai receives a one million dollar award.

The Indian traveler reported that she would purchase a ticket each time they traveled, and she would switch the names that appeared on the tickets.

An Indian housewife received a financial gift from her husband for their wedding anniversary in April. Using the funds, she purchased a raffle draw ticket, and on Thursday, May 16, the ticket resulted in her winning one million dollars. She continued to receive such gifts.

With ticket number 3337, which she purchased online on May 3, Mrs.

Payal Payal, who is 42 years old and hails from Punjab, was able to win the jackpot at the Dubai Duty-Free (DDF) Millennium Millionaire series 461 games.

According to Harnek Singh, my husband gave me a Dh1,000 present on the occasion of our sixteenth wedding anniversary on April 20th, and the money that I used to purchase the winning ticket came from him. When Payal heard the wonderful news from the people who were organizing the raffle draw, she told Khaleej Times over the phone, "I thought about buying a DDF ticket online with the money, and I picked the ticket with the most number 3s in it."

Payal, whose birthday is on December 12th and whose favorite number is three, announced that she has been purchasing tickets to the DDF for the past twelve years. Every time they embarked on a trip, she would buy a ticket and interchange the names printed on it between her husband's and her children's.

"I used to buy DDF once or twice every year at the airport, but I took exception the last time when, for the first time, I bought tickets online," she recalled. With a delighted expression, she added, "It was a gift that kept on giving—the cash gift from our husband made us millionaires."

When the organizers of the DDF called her to give the good news, Payal declared that she was in a state of disbelief. After it finally dawned on her, her mother-in-law, who was at home with her at the time, was the first person she told about the victory.

After that, I called my husband and informed him that I had won the jackpot. I was so overjoyed that tears of happiness began to fall from my eyes as I spoke to him. The children, who are twins and are 14 years old, are not aware of the news at this time; however, we will inform them once we pick them up from school this afternoon (Thursday)," she continued.

When asked how she intends to spend the money, she responded, "It is still very early to decide." But, of course, our first objective is to ensure my children's future by providing them with an excellent education so that they can have a successful life.

In addition to that, I would like to engage in some charitable work within our Punjabi community and assist my brother, who is currently residing in Australia. I am grateful to Dubai Duty Free for realizing my ambition of earning your promotion. She continued by saying, "This will go a long way."

Payal became the 229th Indian to win the Millennium Millionaire promotion.
