When the new Boeing 777-X aircraft enter the fleet in 2025, the first officers will also have the opportunity to pilot 205 of these aircraft. Based on the information provided on the Emirates website, the basic compensation for the first officer who is not type-graded is Dh31,341.

The program is for the Accelerated Command of Boeing 777 Vehicles.This airline has decided to extend its Accelerated Command Program (ACP) to include its fleet of Boeing 777s.

Previously, the ACP had only been available for the airline's ever-popular A380. An accelerated commandant receives a starting salary of Dh36,446 per month for the position.

Captain of the A350's Direct Entry fleetCurrently, the airline is eagerly seeking Direct Entry Captains (DEC) to assume control of its recently acquired fleet of 65 A350 aircraft. Emirates has also upped the base compensation for new hires on both the A350s and the A380s as an additional incentive for them to consider joining the company. The Emirates website states that the base wage for a direct entry captain is Dh46,670, inclusive of all benefits.

The initial officersFirst officers who have logged more than 4,000 hours of flight time on modern Boeing or Airbus fly-by-wire aircraft are eligible for higher compensation packages from Emirates. The Emirates website lists the basic income for a first officer as Dh31,341, and the upgraded package as Dh33,781.

Emirates provides its pilots with a competitive income that is exempt from taxes, allows them to participate in profit sharing, spacious villas in gated communities, an education allowance, and great coverage for life, medical, and dental expenses. They also receive frequent and complimentary financial counsel and have access to a world-class provident fund.
