The government of the United Arab Emirates announced the start of activating a new radar system on a number of roads to monitor and control drivers who violate traffic regulations, especially those who cross road intersections, and those who intentionally enter in front of other cars without activating the traffic signal.
Abu Dhabi Police explained that the new radar system at the crossroads runs on solar energy as part of its strategic priorities and objectives, to preserve the safety of road users and reduce traffic accidents.

Abu Dhabi Police announced that the new solar-powered traffic response system aims to catch drivers violating traffic regulations and overtaking in front of the intersection triangle.
In addition to violating drivers who overtake vehicles and cause obstruction to traffic, and those who intentionally enter in front of other vehicles at entrances.
Adherence to traffic rules in the Uae
The police explained that the new systems that were introduced during the recent period aim to alert drivers to the importance of adhering to traffic rules, giving priority to vehicles and entering from authorized places.
Through these systems, the police also aim to reduce traffic accidents and the resulting loss of life and property, and to preserve their safety and the safety of others.
Enhancing traffic safety on the roads
