The 25th edition of the UAE National Career Fair is held by Expo Sharjah. The participating companies indicated that opportunities will be provided in various specializations for young people and recent graduates, while clarifying that the jobs will include individuals with university degrees and below.
Jobs with lucrative salaries:
In addition to salaries starting from 6,000 dirhams, representatives of participating companies explained through the Sharjah Government Human Resources Department platform that there are jobs available that do not require experience. These jobs fall under the “precious” category, which starts at 5,000 dirhams for individuals without a university degree and 7,000 dirhams for those with a certificate. Jobs in universities and banks start from twenty-one thousand dirhams (not including “Al-Nafis”).
Participants in the exhibition explained how the “Nafis” program helped the private sector attract young people, especially graduates, by encouraging them to enter the private sector after they had previously had concerns about it and preferred the public sector.
The jobs offered by the bank during the exhibition include those with high school diplomas and above, but of course priority is given to those with university degrees, according to Sultan Khalifa Al Ali, Executive Vice President of the National Bank of Ras Al Khaimah. He pointed out that the jobs offered include (personal banking, credit, and information technology). And banks).
Al-Ali pointed out that there are more than 50 jobs available in various specializations, stressing that the “Nafis” program has greatly benefited them in attracting young people, especially graduates. He also stated that a large portion of the young people who were employed came from employment fairs held across the emirates of the country.

According to the plan drawn up by the university for the years 2022-2023 and 2023-2024, a large number of young people have been appointed. The head of the Talent Acquisition Department at the University of Sharjah, Shouq Ali, in cooperation with the Human Resources Department of the Government of Sharjah, said that the recruitment plan for the following years has now been completed. She continued: “Our priority is graduates of the University of Sharjah, but we welcome talents from young citizens,” pointing out that in addition to technical jobs such as the Information Technology Center and the College of Engineering, there are jobs available at the exhibition in a variety of specializations, including human resources and information technology, In addition to other functions such as cyber security. She pointed out that the university is offering 32 jobs within this exhibition and has an employment plan within the framework of the Emiratisation policy. She pointed out that last year witnessed the appointment of many young citizens who applied through the exhibition at the University Dental Hospital and the Sharjah Academy for Space and Astronomy, in addition to some other jobs for young people proposed by the Human Resources Department in the country. Contribution of Sharjah Islamic Bank:
For his part, Ahmed Al-Mazloum, Head of the Human Resources Department at Sharjah Islamic Bank, explained that the bank’s objectives are to empower national cadres, increase nationalization, and attract cadres through implementing a number of training programs, the most important of which is Masar. The bank also currently enjoys fruitful cooperation with the initiatives of the (Nafis) program, which aims to support the nationalization of citizens within five years, in addition to the (Ithra) program.
He stressed that the bank strongly supports Emiratisation programs and the empowerment of young national cadres, noting that the bank communicates with young applicants immediately after career fairs and conducts interviews to select applicants for open jobs.
In response, the professional trainer at the Ministry of Community Development, Mona Al Kaabi, confirmed that the ministry’s platform participating in the exhibition focuses on people of determination and was launched in 2018 to allow researchers to register there as well as companies looking to employ people with determination. Al Kaabi said: “We work as a link between individuals of determination and the organizations seeking to employ them.” “Our mission is to follow up on individuals after their appointment and arrange training courses for both parties to educate them on how to work with people of determination. We do this by offering workshops for people of determination in sign language and other fields.
