Following the expiration of the ministry's deadline granted to employers, from June 30 to the seventh of July, to achieve the Emiratization targets for employers, taking into account the Arafa pause holiday and Eid al-Adha, and to allow sufficient time, the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratization will begin, next Saturday, to follow up on the commitment to achieve the semi-annual Emiratization targets for private sector companies with 50 employees and more skilled workers.
Imposing financial fines on violating companies:
It is planned that the ministry will begin, beginning on July 8, to follow up on the commitment to achieve the semi-annual Emiratization targets set by the Council of Ministers, represented by achieving a growth rate of 1% of skilled jobs, provided that financial fines of 42 thousand dirhams will be imposed on companies that do not comply.

In an instructional video broadcast on its official social media platforms, the ministry confirmed that once the deadline for enterprises to meet the Emiratization targets expires, it will begin conducting a review of the commitment of the target enterprises and imposing financial contributions on non-meeting enterprises with an Emiratization rate of 1% semi-annually, in addition to the remaining financial contributions for the year 2022 on non-committed enterprises.
