Urgent.. Providing 222.6 thousand job opportunities in the UAE within 3 months

A parliamentary report prepared by the financial, economic and Industrial Affairs Committee of the Federal National Council confirmed that the labor market and job opportunities in the UAE witnessed exceptional activity and concerted efforts that resulted in substantial developments in enhancing its readiness for the next fifty years.

According to the report, "As a result of these developments, the state has taken important steps in the legislation regulating the labor market, as the main engine for the growth of the knowledge, innovation, and technology economy during the next stage, and a gateway to enhance the possibilities of economic diversification, flexibility, and competitiveness of the business environment and attracting talent, most notably the updating of the labor regulation law to avoid obsolescence."

The report revealed a significant increase in the number of private sector workers registered with the Ministry of human resources and Emiratisation during the first three months of this year, with a total of 222,634 new workers, bringing the total number of private sector workers registered with the ministry from 5,477,366 workers at the end of last year to 5,700,000 workers in the private sector as of the end of March.

The report, a copy of which Emirates obtained today, explained that "the ratio of citizens working in private sector facilities to the total skilled labor registered with the ministry until the end of last year was 4.16 percent, with a growth rate of 68 percent compared to 2021, while the total monthly salary transfers in the private sector until the end of last March totaled 21 billion dirhams.
