The United Arab Emirates Ministry of Emiratization and Human Resources has made an announcement regarding the approval of a "private teacher work permit" with the Ministry of Education. The purpose of this permit is to facilitate the delivery of educational lessons to students outside of the framework of educational institutions by qualified individuals in a manner that provides them with a direct income. This includes teachers who are registered in either government or private schools. Those who are employed in the public and private sectors, those who are not already employed, students in high school who are between the ages of 15 and 18, and students attending universities are all included in this category.
Previously, the Ministry of Emiratization and Human Resources announced through its official account on the social networking site "X" "Twitter" that the permit is granted free of charge for a period of two years, and that it entitles its recipients to engage in private teaching after they have signed a conduct document in accordance with the model that has been approved by the Ministry of Education.
Through their website, which can be found at http://mohre.gov.ae, the Ministry has provided a link to an electronic document that explains how to submit an application in order to acquire a permit.
On the other hand, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, emphasised that scientific and cognitive curiosity is the foundation for the cultural growth of nations at all phases of history from the beginning of time till the present day.
This news came as His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum announced in a blog post on the X website that Professor Nevin Khashab, Associate Dean of Physical and Engineering Sciences and Professor of Chemistry at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology - Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, was the recipient of the "Geniuses of the Arabs" award in the Natural Sciences category.
Khashab was presented with the award. The research that it has conducted in Arab institutions and the pioneering contributions that it has made in the realm of natural sciences are the reasons behind this.
