Urgent .. Sheikh Sultan Al Qasimi approves 220 new jobs in Sharjah
His Majesty Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, gave his approval for the hiring of 200 staff members with a range of specialties for the Sharjah Electricity, Water, and Gas Authority.
20 additional positions will be added to the Sharjah Radio and Television Authority in Sharjah, the central region, and the eastern region if hiring is coordinated with the department of human resources for the Sharjah government.
Scholarship acceptance
The second batch of scholarships for postgraduate students at the University of Sharjah, totaling 248 scholarships, was also granted by His Highness, the Ruler of Sharjah, for the academic year 2023–2024.
The second batch is a continuation of the first batch, which included 264 scholarships and was approved in advance by His Highness, increasing the total number of scholarships for students who are citizens of the Emirate of Sharjah to 512.
The scholarships specifically consist of 106 doctoral scholarships, 405 master's scholarships, and one postgraduate diploma grant.
The "Direct Line" programme, which is aired on Sharjah Radio and Television, announced His Highness' orders.
When a student who is enrolled in studying at the university from abroad has finished half of his study plan, according to the permitted times, and in accordance with the university calendar announced at the university, the university will cover the costs of the student's return and return travel tickets from the country.
