Urgent: Abu Dhabi Police speed reduction system on Al Ain-Dubai road

On Saturday, the Abu Dhabi Police posted on its official "X" platform account that it was "activating the system to reduce speeds to 120 km/h on the Al Ain-Dubai road (Masaken - Karaa)."

Due to the inclement weather, police warned drivers to drive carefully.
As part of the request, drivers were requested to "commit to the changing speed shown on electronic signs and signboards."
On "X" (formerly Twitter), the National Centre of Meteorology in turn reported "heavy rain on the Al Ain-Dubai road."

The National Centre of Meteorology warned people to drive carefully, avoid areas near valleys and water pools, and exercise caution amid heavy rain and high gusts in various eastern districts.
On Shawka Road, Wadi Al-Hilu, North Al-Munai'i, Wadi Asfni, Wadi Al-Tawa, Khatm Al-Shaklah, Malakat, Al-Zahir, Masaken, Mazyad, Ma'ishiq, Al-Ain Dubai Road towards Al-Hayer, Al-Ain, and on Sheikh Khalifa Street in Fujairah.
The National Centre for Meteorology predicted that on Sunday, wet weather would predominate in some coastal areas in the morning. It was predicted that the weather would be clear to partly cloudy, with a chance of some cumulus clouds forming in the east and south. It was also predicted that rain would fall and that temperatures would increase.
Dust-producing, light to moderate southeasterly to northeasterly winds with velocities of 10 to 25, sometimes exceeding 40 km/h, were present at various intervals during the day. In the Arabian Gulf, there are occasionally mild to medium waves, while in the Sea of Oman, there are only light waves.
The weather will be fair to partly cloudy with a chance of some cumulus clouds in the south that may be accompanied by rain on Monday, according to the centre. The winds will be southeasterly to northeasterly, light to moderate in speed, active at times during the day, and will cause dust and dust on the eastern coast in the morning.
