UAE National Day 2023 : Sharjah Council announces 10-Day Celebration Plan
The Sharjah Executive Council is actively considering a comprehensive proposal to organize an extensive 10-day celebration commemorating the UAE's 52nd National Day. This celebration will be held across various cities and regions within the emirate of Sharjah, encompassing a diverse range of activities and events aimed at honoring this significant occasion.

The festivities will encompass a wide spectrum of experiences, including marches, heritage exhibitions, musical performances, folklore presentations, aerial displays, and entertaining shows.
Furthermore, the celebration will feature a rich array of events, workshops, and competitions designed to promote values associated with community and unity.
This announcement coincided with a notable meeting presided over by Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, the Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, within the framework of the Sharjah Executive Council. Last year, Sharjah hosted National Day celebrations spanning from November 24 to December 3, demonstrating the city's unwavering commitment to acknowledging this momentous national event.
The UAE National Day holds a special place in the hearts of the nation's citizens and residents, being celebrated annually on December 2nd to commemorate the unification of the Emirates in 1971. This day symbolizes unity, patriotism, and shared heritage among the people of the UAE.
In recognition of this significant occasion, both private and public sector employees are entitled to paid holidays on December 2nd and 3rd, providing them with the opportunity to actively participate in the diverse National Day celebrations and festivities.
