A fine of 2000 dirhams in the UAE and the vehicle being impounded due to this traffic violation
Due to irresponsible behavior while driving a car in front of a police patrol in the United Arab Emirates, security services apprehended a young man, only 20 years old.
This incident occurred in the southern area of Ras Al Khaimah, where the driver made excessive noise and performed stunts in front of an Emirati police patrol.
The driver was reckless in front of the police patrol
The video, which spread widely on social media platforms, showed the car performing dramatic movements in front of the police patrol using a four-wheel drive vehicle, in clear disdain for both law enforcement officials and the traffic rules and regulations in force in the country.
Immediately, the Traffic Department of Ras Al Khaimah Police formed a search and investigation team in implementation of the directives of the Commander-in-Chief of Ras Al Khaimah Police. The team included contributions from the Traffic and Patrols Department.
The security services were able to immediately locate the car and identify the driver who appeared in the video. The car was actually seized, and the police are taking legal measures against the driver in preparation for referring him to the Public Prosecutor.
Do not be lax in imposing severe penalties on violators
For its part, Ras Al Khaimah Police confirmed that the security services will not tolerate or tolerate imposing severe penalties on those who violate regulations and laws or show disrespect for police officers in order to preserve the security and well-being of society.
In addition to taking firm measures and working with violators and perpetrators who dare to challenge the authority of police officers, violate the laws of the state, and endanger the safety of others with an iron fist.
recklessly driving violations in the uae
It is worth noting that distracted driving in the UAE is considered a disgraceful act, and under the UAE Federal Traffic Law, this violation will result in a fine of 2,000 dirhams, 23 black points, and impoundment of the car for 60 days.
The same penalty and fine are also applied to drivers who endanger the lives of others.
It also includes other violations for which perpetrators are subject to the same penalties as before (obstructing traffic, jumping red lights, sudden deviation, and driving without a license plate).
It is worth noting that each emirate in the United Arab Emirates has its own traffic regulations and penalties.
Adherence to traffic signals in the Emirates
It is worth noting that if you ignore or do not adhere to some of these traffic signals, the driver may be liable to pay traffic fines in Abu Dhabi or other Emirates, so you must be responsible while driving and observe the safe distance between cars and other car driving rules.
The new UAE traffic law is considered one of the very strict laws regarding traffic regulations in the world. This law stipulates deterrent penalties for anyone who violates traffic rules and instructions.
