The UAE announces a successful business and happy residence campaign
Customs and Ports Security, the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship, and the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation announced the launch of a campaign entitled “Successful Work and Happy Residence” to educate the general public and government officials about the regulations governing the entry and residence of foreign citizens and the working relationship.
Many government agencies, along with free zones across the country and several media sources, confirmed that Tuesday, October 10, will be a three-month awareness campaign.
Khalil Al-Khouri, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation for Human Resources Affairs said that this partnership embodies our mutual keenness to enhance awareness at the level of the labor market in the country by informing the target groups of their legal rights and duties, He pointed out that cooperation with government agencies in the country constitutes a basic pillar in Efforts aimed at controlling and organizing the labor market and enhancing its competitiveness, efficiency, and flexibility so that everyone contributes to achieving sustainable development in various sectors.
Target groups for the residency law:
Al-Khoury indicated that he is optimistic about the potential benefits of the campaign on society and the labor market, given its focus on disseminating information about the laws regulating the entry and residence of foreigners and regulating labor relations, as well as the measures and penalties taken against them, Violators in order to maintain a fair and equitable labor relationship, it is useful to ensure that the target groups comply with the law and comply with it, According to the Director General of the Authority, Major General Suhail Saeed Al Khaili, the aim of the campaign is to increase awareness and commitment to the laws governing labor relations and the entry and residence of foreigners in the country by informing the public, The target is the laws regulating labor relations and the entry and residence of foreigners in the country. Consequences of violating these laws This helps strengthen the rules of the legal system and protects individuals and communities from the consequences of breaking the law.
He added that the campaign's target audience includes everyone in the UAE, not only those who violate the rules when entering or residing in the country, but also employers, employees and investors in the free zones.
Types of UAE visas:
The Director General of Residency and Foreigners Affairs at the Authority, Major General Sultan Muhammad Al Nuaimi, confirmed that the campaign’s time frame is dedicated to educating the target groups and community members about violations of tourist visas, work visas, job seekers’ visas, interruption of work, and illegal residency after the expiration of the legal residency period, in addition to entry, Illegal, overstaying the visit visa, and not leaving the country after the expiry of the allotted period.
He pointed out that the campaign also includes a wide range of media activities such as social networking sites, radio and television interviews, newsletters, advertisements, etc, all of which are delivered to the target groups in four languages: Arabic, English, Urdu and Swahili.
