Steps to obtain a transit visa:
You must visit the official website of the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship or the smart application (ica) to submit a request for the service. There are six steps to obtain the service, choose transit (48-hour visa service, and enter the sponsor’s data, The sponsored person submits the required papers, pays the fees, uploads a personal photo, pays the dues and financial payments, then receives an email containing the exit permit and entry permit for the service.
The Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs, and Port Security continued that the traveler must fulfill four requirements to benefit from the service, and must leave for a country other than his country of origin within (48) hours of obtaining the visa, and his passport or other travel document must be valid for some time, At least three more months before entry, and he must have a ticket for the rest of his trip.
Transit visa for cruises:
The Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs, and Ports Security said that a foreigner who is in transit and continuing his journey to another country, who joins one of the ships docked in one of the country’s ports, and who wishes to join it but is forced due to his work to enter the country, is granted a transit entry visa, which It is presented through the country’s ports (air and sea), and its validity is 96 hours before entry, Departure before the end of the period is not subject to extension, The holder is allowed to enter the country through the approved official entry ports (air and sea).
It specified four requirements for obtaining a visa, which include the validity of the passport, in addition to the fact that the traveler must have a ticket for the rest of his trip, and he must be traveling to a country different from the one he arrived from, and he must leave the country within (96) hours of applying for the visa, and it must not be less than The travel document is valid for six months before arrival.
The Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs, and Port Security stated that a departure fee of 30 dirhams will be imposed on all travelers through land and sea ports, except citizens of the country and members of the Gulf Cooperation Council, as well as those entering the country via tourist ferries.
