Dubai Run transforms Sheikh Zayed Road, banning cars this weekend

Dubai is set to host the grand finale of the month-long Dubai Fitness Challenge with the world's largest free fun run.

The iconic Sheikh Zayed Road, the UAE's busiest highway, will transform into a colossal running track, marking a spectacular event for people of all ages and abilities.

The World's'sargest Free Fun Run on Sheikh Zayed Road

Thousands of participants, regardless of age or running prowess, will join the Dubai Run, seizing the opportunity to run on the Sheikh Zayed Road on Sunday, November 26. This inclusive event offers two route options, catering to different preferences:

  1. 5km Downtown Stretch: Starting near the Museum of the Future, the route passes by landmarks like the Burj Khalifa and Dubai Opera, concluding near Dubai Mall.
  2. 10km Sheikh Zayed Road Route: Tailored for experienced runners, this demanding route commences at the Museum of the Future, crosses the Dubai Canal bridge, loops along the Sheikh Zayed Road, and finishes near the DIFC Gate.

Dubai Police Supercar Parade Launch

The run will commence with an exhilarating Dubai Police supercar parade, adding a thrilling element to the fitness extravaganza.

Free registration and essential details

Signing up on the official website is the only way to reserve your spot for either route, and registration is free. A QR code, which is essential for retrieving bibs, will be provided upon registration. You can pick up your race bib at Run and Ride Central in One Central until November 25. No one will be allowed to participate in the event unless they have a bib.
