The mercury will reach a maximum temperature of 48 degrees Celsius in Abu Dhabi and 47 degrees Celsius in Dubai, respectively.

It was on Friday, June 21, that the United Arab Emirates registered the hottest temperature of the summer season up to this point. It was reported by the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) in a post on X that a temperature of 49.9 degrees Celsius was recorded in Mezaira, which is located in the Al Dhafra region, at 3:15 p.m. on Friday.

The country is forecast to have winds that range from light to moderate and occasionally become more gusty during the daytime hours today.

The sea level in the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea is expected to be quite low.
