These instructions were released by the General Authority for Pensions and Insurance.

“Pension” calls on employers to update the data of the insured

"Pension" requires that employers keep the personal information of the insured up to date, The General Authority for Pensions and Social Security called on employers to update the data of employees responsible for completing work on their behalf, on the electronic systems of the Authority. This was in addition to updating the insured's data in the systems of the Authority, which included details such as salary information, job title, and contact information such as the insured's address, phone number, and personal email address. Employers were given the opportunity to update the data of their employees by submitting a request to the Authority. In addition to that, it consists of the place of residence, the family book, the passport, as well as the employment, social, and health status. She pointed out that updating the data does not only mean the aforementioned data, but it also extends to completing current transactions for employers on the Authority's systems, whether these transactions relate to them or to their insureds, such as Completing the services of registering an employer or registering the insured, paying the subscription due for him, adding and purchasing services, completing end-of-service transactions, transportation services, medical unfitness services, etc. She emphasized that updating the data does not only mean the aforementioned

Updating information about paying contributions for insured workers in the Emirates

Information about the payment of contributions for insured workers in the Emirates is being brought up to date, The Authority provided some information regarding the payment of contributions, the most important of which was that the insured's contributions in the private sector are paid during the year, based on the subscription account salary for the month of January of each year, and any increase that occurs in the insured's subscription account salary during the year is not taken into account, unless it takes effect. This is the case regardless of whether or not the increase in the insured's subscription account salary takes effect. It goes back to the first of January of that year and is effective from that point forward. In the event that it is not applicable in a retroactive manner, it will be taken into consideration in January of the year that follows. If an employee starts working in the private sector in a month other than January, his contributions are computed using the monthly rate in effect from the month in which he started working until January of the following year. While the contributions of covered workers in the public sector are determined based on the actual contribution calculation pay for each month, private sector workers' contributions are determined differently.

When does the employer update employee salary information in the Emirates?

When is the employer in the Emirates updated the information on the salaries of its employees, The employer in the private sector is required to provide an update on the salaries of his employees for that month and their monthly contributions to the Authority in January of each year. Additionally, the employer is required to provide the Authority with any changes that occur in the number of his employees or their salaries on a monthly basis, and in the event that this data is not provided in a timely manner, the employer is subject to a fine. It should be noted that the date for paying contributions is at the end of the month for which they are due until the beginning of the new month, and that they are allowed to be paid until the 15th day of the month following their due date. Specific contributions are calculated on the basis of the most recent statement that was submitted to the Authority until the actual due contributions are calculated. Regarding the payment of contributions in the event of vacations, the Authority stated that in the case of paid vacations, the Authority, the insured, and the employer are each obligated to pay their percentage, while the insured is responsible for the full payment of contributions on his behalf and on behalf of the employer in the case of other unpaid leaves, such as special leave to accompany someone. The Authority, the insured, and the employer are each obligated to pay their percentage in the case of paid vacations. Spouses taking unpaid academic leave and other leaves, as well as spouses taking leaves for each other.
