Dubai-based Emirates Airlines has announced the cancellation of flights to and from Hong Kong for a two-day period. This decision comes in response to severe weather conditions caused by Super Typhoon SAOLA, as detailed on the airline's official website.
List of affected flights are as follows:
September 1:
- EK380, EK384 from DXB (Dubai) to HKG (Hong Kong) and BKK (Bangkok) to HKG.
September 2:
- EK381, EK385 from HKG (Hong Kong) to DXB (Dubai) and HKG to BKK (Bangkok).
Additionally, Emirates Airlines has notified passengers that they will not be permitted to board planes at their departure points if they are going to Hong Kong or connecting through Hong Kong. If a passenger purchased their flights through a travel agent, they are urged to get in touch with them.
