The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratization announced the cancellation of the licenses of two offices specializing in recruiting domestic workers due to their violation of the requirements and controls stipulated in federal law.
This measure comes within the framework of the Ministry's ongoing efforts to supervise and regulate the activities of domestic worker recruitment offices and ensure that all concerned parties adhere to applicable laws.
In a press release, the Ministry identified the two offices as the “Shamma Al Muhairi Center for Domestic Workers Services” in the Emirate of Dubai and the “Al Barq Center for Domestic Workers Services LLC” in the Emirate of Ajman, explaining that they had committed legal severe violations that required the cancellation of their licenses, which require their owners to Settlement of the working conditions of their employees and implementation of all their obligations towards these employees and employers (for domestic workers), and the relevant local authorities have been informed to take the necessary measures regarding the two offices, with the collection of fines owed by the two offices until the date of their licenses being canceled.

She also said that the licensed domestic worker recruitment offices spread throughout the country operate under the supervision of the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation.
