Engineers discovered significant damage to a slat in the right wing upon landing, and the aircraft will remain on the ground for further inspection, but "Emirates can confirm that flight ek 77 (from Dubai to Nice) landed safely and all passengers and crew disembarked safely."

The spokesperson emphasised that "safety is our highest priority and will not be compromised."

The incident reportedly took place on a Friday, and the plane's leading edge (the part of the wing that makes contact with the air first) was damaged.

It has not yet been determined what caused the damage, as stated by the French inquiry board bea (bureau of enquiry and analysis for civil aviation safety).

European multinational aircraft corporation Airbus has created the first full-length double-deck jet airliner, the wide-body a380.

Emirates operates more a380s than any other airline.

A tyre on an Emirates airline en route to Brisbane exploded and punctured the plane's skin, but the passengers and crew were able to land safely in June 2022.

According to Emirates, everyone got off flight EK430 on time.

News outlets in Australia published images of a jet with a gaping hole in its side and said that a tyre had burst before takeoff.

A flydubai flight in April still took off from Nepal despite a bird strike that occurred during takeoff.

The incident occurred at the airport in Kathmandu.

A spokeswoman from the airline stated that the usual protocols were used to evaluate whether or not it was safe for the plane to continue flying.
