UAE extends nominations for the Emirates Award deadline til 31 August
The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE) has extended the deadline for submitting nominations for the prestigious Emirates Award for Leadership in the Labour Market until August 31st.

Employers, businesspersons, and proprietors of companies and commercial establishments are invited by the Ministry to put forth nominations in three distinct categories: establishments, workers, or business service partners.
This award, meticulously organized by MoHRE, serves to commend private sector entities, applaud visionary entrepreneurs and diligent employees, and spotlight triumphant methodologies within the UAE's labor market.
Celebrating Excellence
Endorsed by the Council of Ministers and backed by Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of the Presidential Court, the award lauds pioneering private sector enterprises, acknowledges exceptional laborers, and showcases triumphant initiatives spanning diverse economic sectors across the nation.

Initiated on June 1, the inaugural edition of the Award, approved by the UAE Cabinet in March, finds its footing under the esteemed patronage of Sheikh Mansour. The award's core objectives encompass heightening the competitiveness of the UAE's labor market, elevating productivity and efficiency, commending exemplary workplace practices, and safeguarding workers' rights while advancing their overall well-being across private sector entities.

The selection procedure for the award is based on detailed and precise criteria. These cover crucial aspects of the labor market like hiring management, attracting skilled workers, occupational health and safety, adhering to wage standards, creating a quality working environment, being future-ready, being motivated and inspired, producing innovative work, continuing education, and being socially responsible.
