Passport Holders of 82 Countries Enter UAE Visa-Free

Citizens of 82 nations worldwide enjoy visa-free entry into the UAE. Tourists arriving can obtain two types of visas upon arrival: a 30-day entry visa that can be extended by 10 days, or a 90-day visa. GCC country residents can enter with passports or identity cards and do not need a visa or sponsor.

Indian passport holders can receive a 14-day entry visa upon arrival, extendable for 14 more days. To qualify, their passport must be valid for at least 6 months from arrival, and they must hold a visit visa or permanent residency card from the US, UK, or an EU country.

For those not eligible for visa-free or visa-on-arrival entry, an entry permit issued by their sponsor before entry is necessary. This permit, provided by the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs, is contingent on the purpose of the visit.

Around 115 countries' citizens require a visa to enter the UAE, as stated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Potential travelers should check the official websites of the ministry and the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship for the latest visa updates and requirements. Alternatively, airlines can be contacted for up-to-date information.
