Visit Qatar announced its readiness to participate in the 31st edition of the Arabian Travel Market, which is held annually in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
The sources reported that the exhibition will be held during the period from the 6th to the 9th of this month in order to promote the latest destinations that Qatar offers to its visitors in the travel and tourism sectors, Exhibitors and attendees will also have the opportunity to explore new opportunities in the market.
The responsible authorities also highlighted the benefits of cooperation, communication, and learning about the latest developments taking place in Qatar, as well as improving partnerships with key partners in the travel and tourism sector during the exhibition.
The sources explained that, during its participation in the exhibition, Visit Qatar leads a delegation that includes 43 partners from the tourism sector representatives in the Qatari pavilion of the exhibition, adding that the exhibition extends over an area of 600 square meters on the ground level and 150 square meters on the upper level, in the Dubai World Trade Centre.
The sources added that the Qatari pavilion includes a digital display wall with the aim of broadcasting video clips showing Qatar as a tourist destination, and the Visit Qatar pavilion also includes a cultural area that includes activities related to Sadu weaving, kohl drawing, and making essential oils, in coordination with Heina Salama Farm, with the aim of highlighting The rich heritage and traditions of the State of Qatar, allowing attendees to enjoy local Qatari culture, and Qanwan Café was also coordinated.
Engineer Abdulaziz Ali Al-Mawlawi, CEO of Visit Qatar, stated that Qatar is strengthening its position by participating in the existing exhibition, as it was reported that Qatar has received approximately 1.7 million visitors since the beginning of the year.
Visit Qatar officials confirmed that their participation enhances their presence in major tourism exhibitions and forums around the world, to support the diversification process in the national economy in Qatar during the coming years, in line with the Qatar National Vision 2030.
